Anyone here ever tried that Numerology thing? I did it once and I turned out to be a six. Which I think is totally true!
Heh if anyone wants to try it this is how you do it:
You take your brithdate (will use mine as an example)- 4/15/1984
Then you add all the numbers up like this: 4, 1+5, 1+9+8+5= 4, 6, 23.
Then you add them again 4+6+2+3=15
Then you add those numbers to get your numerology number: 1+5=6
Got it? I'll post up the little numerology things for each number in a minute, so that way everyone will know what they are, (if they didn't know to begin with).

I've done some research and there are different numbers, what the lovely Mrs Scabtree posted is called the 'birth number'.

To get you 'name number' you write your full name (no middles needed, but if people call you a shortened version of your name then use that instead of your proper name) and for each letter give the appropriate number value:

1 A J S
2 B K T
3 C L U
4 D M V
5 E N W
6 F O X
7 G P Y
8 H Q Z
9 I R

To analyze the name just keep adding up the values until the total is a single digit. Like shown above.

If you add this and your birth number together, you will get your destiny number. The three values have different meanings (i've only found stuff about personality so far, but there's more) and repeated values reinforce and deepen the meaning.

Heres the source code, didnt take long, im surprised that something like this is final work for anything. I use more time for useless debugging than actual coding... since u make counting error with u birth number and i used that for testcase. thehangedman makes 55, not 58, so u birthnumber is 1 instead. Just compile it and use as u please...

it might be little hard to get grasp first, if u havent done programming, since i used recursion, but i wanted to make it general rather than trivial. Now it can take really huge names :) I suppose first limiting factor is size of int.

In my opinion C++ is almost as easy as it gets, java is easier though. But there r lot of languages between machine ones and C++ on hardness scale. 3GL like ada and whole second generetion (symbolic machine languages).

I don't think your business idea is killer, but mayby we could make some lunch money by selling these to the students of wicked's school. u market, i code. ;)
