I just discovered something wacky but highly awesome: Proto-indo-european.
Indo european is the language family to which all european and some asian asian languages belong. Apparently by comparing similarities and ignoring borrowing and comparing old dialects, they were able to reconstruct the ancient language.
I'm going to try to learn it. There is, apparently, a society for nutcases like myself who want to resurect it.
I figure, morons learn klingon and elvish all the time. Am i more a fool for learning PIE?
