I'm on a green sewing streak and felt like blathering about it at 2am.

From one single curtain panel, I was able to make the following:

One ankle length skirt
one grocery bag
one purse

I'm trying to arrange the other curtain panel so i can get another grocery bag and a shirt out of it. Possibly more grocery bags though.

How about a Banana Hammock? I could always use another one of those.

Good idea! You could probably also do cushions and braided rugs. Or quilts, if you're into that. I hate quilting, but some people love it.

OH OH OH edit: You could also totally cut the fabric into strips, and knit or crochet the strips into practically anything! That would look pretty awesome, eh? Oh man, I think I'm gonna try that now...

I've got some old curtains that are just taking up space. I'm now tempted to try to make them into grocery bags. I mean, my sewing machine's all set up on the kitchen table and everything...
