1 I’m like a vampire. I drink the blood of women. I do not have fangs like you see in the movies. I’m in the sun all the time. When I don’t drink any blood, I become very weak and die. When they fight and get away the die soon due to the blood they lost. I look and act like a human being. I have emotions or feels, as you like to call them. My life goes on. I haven’t aged for about one hundred years. I don’t sleep much at night or during the day. The only way I can get rid of this ‘illness’ is to find a woman who loves me for me. I have to love her back. I’ve been questioned by the police and was let every time. They usually arrest the husbands or ex-boyfriends. “Marry me Hope” Fred said to Hope “We’ve only been going out for about five weeks.” Hope told him “Hope I love you with all my heart. Nothing can change that.” “Fred I love you too. How do I know that you’re my Mr. Right?” “Trust your heart. Listen to what it tells you. Go with whatever your heart says.” “You’re always saying something like that.” “I love you Hope.” “I feel like your keeping something from me.” “I’m not hiding anything.” “I can feel that your keep something from me.” “Your right. I’m hiding something from you.” “What is it?” “I….love…..you.” he said while kissing her shoulders “I’m not kidding.” “Deep down inside I love to kill women.” Hope laughs “That’s cute. Very cute. Now really, tell me the truth.” “I’m telling you the truth.” “So your like a vampire.” Hope said in a joking voice “Come here and find out.” Hope walk over the Fred. She kiss him. She pulled of his shirt. He unbutton her shirt. She laid on her back. Fred was kissing her on her neck. Fred look at Hope’s face and than bit her. She tried to fight him off, but he was too strong for her. A few seconds later she stop moving. Fred got up and wipe the blood from his face. He wrap her in the bed sheets. He put her in the back of his car. He drove to the river and dump her there. “Don’t worry Lita. I bet he’s happy wherever he’s at. I know he wants you to be happy.” Lisa told Lita “I know Lisa” Lita said to her, while trying to hide her tears “Lita I’m sorry to hear about Mike.” A man said to Lita After the funeral was over, Lita went to the beach, where she and Mike use to go to relax. She sat down in the sand. She stared at the water for what seemed like hours. She laid down and counted, looked and played connect-the-stars. She watch couples walk by. She tried no to cry about Mike. They were going to be married the next day. Lita closed her eyes and watch the events that happened a few days ago. “To bad no one else wanted to walk home with us.” Lita said to Mike “Yeah, but I have something else on my mind.” He said to her while he stop and kiss her “Like what?” Before Mike could answer her, a car with gang members pulled a gun out and started to shoot at people. The bullets miss Lita and Mike, but Mike seen a little girl who would be hit my a bullet. He ran and grab the girl and shielded her from the bullets. As he put her in a trash can, the gunman aimed and shot Mike in the back and right thought his heart. As soon as the car was out of Lita’s sight, she ran across the street to check on the little girl and Mike. Mike was killed instilling. “Miss are you alright?” A officer ask her “Yes, I’m fine. Thank you for asking.” She told the police officer. A few days later Lita went to a building that just opened up. When she walk in she seen Fred helping a woman costumer. When he was done with her, he walk over to Lita. “Welcome to Kon’s. May I help you?” Fred said to Lita “Yes you can.” Lita answered back “I haven’t seen you here before.” He said to her “I’ve been lock in my house.” She told him “Why have you been lock in your house?” he ask her “My husband or boyfriend, well I guess you could call him my soon-to-be-husband was shot and killed.” She said to him “I’m sorry to here that.” “What’s the deal with the store?” “We sell cloths, you can eat here, and what not.” “Ok. I’m just going to look around.” “Ok. If you need me, my name is Fred.” “Ok, thanks.” As Lita was looking around Fred was watching her. “You are going to be my next victim.” He though to himself. “Lita how’s everything going?” Lisa ask Lita “Good. Lonely at nights, but good.” Lita told her “Do you have your eyes on anyone yet?” “No. I’m not a slut.” “I didn’t mean it like that.” As they walk down the street. Ray an old friend of Lisa’s ran in to them. “Ray this is Lita. Lita, Ray.” Lisa to them “Hello Ray.” Lita said to him “Hello Lita. That’s a lovely name.” Ray said to her “Thank you Ray.” Lita said to him “Oh, look at the time. Lita and I must be going.” Lisa told Ray “Bye Ray.” Lisa and Lita said at the same time “Bye Lisa. Bye Lita” Ray said as he started to walk off. “What’s wrong with you?” Lita ask Lisa “Keep your paws and eyes off of him. I’m working on him.” Lisa told her “Your married Lisa. What would Jett say?” “I don’t care. I’ve had a crush on Ray and I don’t want you to screw this up for me.” “Next time I talk to a friend of yours I’ll ask you if you have a crush on them.” Lita told her Fred had gotten a letter from one of his dead-girlfriend’s brothers. “I know you said you love my sister, but I know that you know something about my sister’s death.” Jayy wrote in the letter “You poor fool. You know I killed her. Your afraid that I’ll kill you too.” He said out loud “When ever my sister talk of was around you she was happy. For the nineteen years she was alive she loved you and she still love you.” Fred rip up the letter and flush the pieces down the toilet. “If you only knew Jayy.” Fred said as he watch the pieces disappeared. “Has anyone been to Kon’s?” Lita ask her friends as they walk down the street “No.” Ty said quickly “I’ve heard that they have a few cute guys there.” Star said to them “That part is true.” Lita said with a smile “What’s up the smile?” Lisa ask “Nothing.” Lita answered “I know what it is. Lita someone at Kon’s.” Star told them “Lita don’t even go out with a guy that works at a place called Kon’s. Unless he’s really, really, really hot.” Jenny told Lita “I’ll keep it in mind.” Lita said as the smile disappeared off her face “What’s the name again, Lita?” Star ask “Kon’s. Capitol K-o-n’-s.” Lita said to her “Isn’t that the place?” She ask Lita as she stop “Yeah so.” “If hotties are in there, then we should go look and check out a few guys.” As they walk in Lita seen Fred behind the counter. “Is he here Lita?” Jenny ask her “I don’t see him.” Lita answered her Just as soon as she said that Fred walk up to them. “Welcome or Welcome back to Kon’s.” Fred said to them “Do any of you need help?” “I do.” Star said to him. “What do you need help with?” “Everything” Part
3 Fred was walking on the beach when he bump in to Lita. “I’m sorry miss. I wasn’t looking were I was going.” Fred said to Lita as he help her up “Don’t you work at Kon’s?” Lita as him “You’re the girl with the reddish-brownish hair from three days ago.” “Yeah.” “I guess its hard to tell when its night time.” He said to her “What are you doing out this late?” “Thinking. You?” “Same here.” “What about?” “My soon-to-be-husband. We were going to be married, before he was killed.” “Oh. I remember you talk about that the other day.” “He died saving a little girl.”
“He died a hero.” “Fred. What’s yours?” “Lita.” “Lita is a nice name.” “How many people do you know with that name?” “You.” Lita laugh for the first time since Mike’s death. “In the dark you have a nice smile.” “So do you.” “Lita where have you been the past few days?” Jenny ask her “Out.” Lita replied “With who?” “Nobody” “I bet it’s that guy from Kon’s” “He was kind of cute.” Lisa said to them “For a married woman you like to look at a lot of men.” Jenny said with a change voice “I can look.” “Everyone knows you cheat on Jett?” “Why don’t you say that to my face?” “If I say it to your face I’d be in bed with you.” “Now I’m piss.” “You two stop it.” Lita said to them “Shut up Lita.” Jenny told Lita “Bring it on, Jean.” Lisa told her “I don’t want to be in bed with you.” Lisa and Jenny started to pull each other’s hair. “You guys stop” Lita yelled as she tried to stop them from hurting each other As Lita tried to stop them Fred was walking down the street. Fred heard the yelling and scramming. He look up and seen Lita trying to stop Jenny and Lisa. Fred ran and pulled Lisa from Jenny. Lita push Jenny back. “Calm down. Breath.” Fred told Lisa “Stop it Jenny.” Lita told her A while after Lisa and Jenny left. “Thanks. I think.” Lita said to Fred “Its ok.” He told her “What are you doing? Following me?” “I was in the right place at the right time.” “They would have rip each other apart if you didn’t help.” “Looks like they could.” Lita laughs. “You’re a nice guy.” “Yeah? Not what I’ve been told.” “Whoever tells you that they’re wrong.” “Would you want to go on a date with me?” Fred ask her “I don’t know. You act nice. You dress neatly. Your sweet as candy. Ok.” “How about tonight at six o’clock. I’ll pick you up and we’ll go to Chuck’s.” “Ok Fred. Here is my address.” Lita said as she handed him a piece of paper.“So Lita whose the guy I’ve seen you with?” Star ask her “A new boyfriend.” Jenny said “No way. Is that true Lita?” “Yes.” Lita told them As they were talking, Lita seen Fred working. “Hang on. I’ll be a minute.” Lita told them as she walk in the store “Hey Baby.” Fred said to her before he kiss her “How long till you get off of work?” She ask her “Three-two-one. Now.” “I want you to meet a few of my friends.”
“Are they the two that were
fighting?” Lita walk out the door with Fred right behind her. “Fred this is Star and Jenny. Jenny was the one in the fight. Star, Jenny this is Fred.” “Hello Jenny. Hello Star.” He said as he shook their hands “Hello Fred.” Jenny and Star said to him They talk for a while till Star had to leave. Jenny said walk with Star “They seem like nice women.” Fred said to Lita “They like you.” “Yeah I guess.” He chuckled “To bad they had to leave.” “I don’t think so.” “You and your nasty mind” She laughs “I know” He jokes
“When is Fred bring Lita home?” Star asked Lisa “Any minute.” Lisa answered “I hear them.” Jenny told them Fred and Lita unlock the door and walk in the house and turned on the lights. “Surprise!” They yelled to Lita “Oh my god. Fred did you know about this?” Lita ask him “It was all Fred’s idea.” Jenny told Lita “How sweet Fred.” Lita said to Fred A couple of hours later Fred help Lita clean up the house. Fred look at a picture of Lita and Mike. “Is this you and Mike?” Fred ask her “Yeah” She answered from the kitchen “You two look like a great couple.” Fred said to her “That’s what everyone told us.” “It must hurt to lose someone you really love.” “Have you broken up or lost someone you loved?” “Yeah. My last two girlfriends.” “What happened?” Lita ask him as she walk in to the living room and was standing next to Fred “One was killed in a car crash. Police say her skull was crash” “What about the other one?” “She was rip open. Her skin of the bone. Parts of her body were rip off of her body.” “Oh god. I’m sorry to hear that. Did they ever find who did this?” “No. I’m still a suspect.” “You don’t look, sound, act, or dress like a killer.” “I can’t even hit my dog when he does something wrong.” “Your to sweet and nice.”
